colossal you, colossal me?

re. Colossal U Ad Campaign. Every weekend I'd go downtown and take the subway, and I'd see these ads. Atfirst, I didn't really mind the ads, I just thought of them as some weird new teaching technique. Untill I saw this one <--, " why go by name, when it's so much easier by number " and had so many questions in my head. Why would students be called by numbers!? Is that not why we were given names? ;o Then I forgot about these ads, until I read the media blog :p So, I decided to visit the site, and I clicked the link to learn more about the school. As soon as I clicked the link, a picture of a girl was walking and the site started turning into a different one, which was a site for Algoma University. There were videos of people talking about the University describing the programs and everything. It was the total opposite of what "Colossal University" had been advertising during the countless subway rides.
So, who said negative advertising was a bad idea? ;p because, this ad defenitely caught my attention, and I'm sure it caught yours too! I thought Algoma used a good advertising technique - that brought it many confused people like me to go and explore the real thing they were advertising.
