technology can't buy happiness!
Re. Everything's Amazing and Nobody's Happy After wasting 4 minutes of my life watching the video( kidding :) I actually started thinking about things, and what I take for granted - what people take for granted. And out of all the things that came to mind, I never thought of technology... until now.
It's true, that we take technology for granted. I admit that there were countless times when I complained that my internet wasn't fast enough, even if it was faster then what most people had. True, I would love to have the faster speed, but I could live with the old iPods. I would love to have a digital SLR, but I can live with my 8.1 megapixel camera. :) I think that people should just be happy with the speed, the quality, etc. they have and stop wanting more and asking for more.
All the new technology has taken the world by storm, everything's always improving, always upgrading. There's always a new version, new model, new this, new that, new! Although it's nice, for our entertainment and enjoyment, and basically our everyday living, when's it gonna be good enough? (lol :) I asked my mom if she had a computer while growing up, she said no and that she didn't need one. And to this day, she hardly ever uses the computer, and she's always complaining about cutting off the internet. So I guess life without technology isn't all that bad, it can be just as fun with it.. but if I were to choose between getting a million dollars living with no technology or to live with technology forever. I'd probably most choose to live with technology. I guess I can say that I'm not a techno junkie, but I can't live without technology either. :)
